Eddie Lin, who publishes the food blog Deep End Dining, has been tapped as a technical adviser for the television show CSI. Apparently inspired by his notorious write up (and video here) of eating still-squirming octopus tentacles, the CSI NY crew has recruited him to find west coast gourmands who "MUST BE WILLING TO EAT WEIRD FOOD ON CAMERA, PROBABLY BUGS OR LIVE OCTOPUS OR LIVE OCTOPUS TENTACLES AND ACT LIKE THEY'RE ENJOYING IT."
